This project began in 2003 in response to the request of a nurse at the Sharp Memorial Hospital Trauma Center. Oftentimes, when a patient arrives at the emergency room, his or her clothing is either collected for evidence or is no longer adequate for the patient to wear home. Assistance League of Greater San Diego furnishes sweatsuits to meet these needs.
